Server sessions

Scribe Server is a background process that is controlled by the Administrator application. The Administrator starts, stops and configures the Server. It also tracks the currently logged-in clients by displaying the session info in the Server tab view, as shown below:

The list of client sessions shows the following information about each client:

User - User ID of the user that started the client
Host - IP address of the host computer on which the client runs
Logged in - date and time when the client connected to the server
Elapsed Time - wall-clock time of the client session in HH:MM format

Stopping the Server terminates all Client sessions. Individual client sessions can be stopped by selecting the session in the list, and pressing the Log off button.
