This feature enables the export of any Template (input or print) or any Procedure (Global, Subledger, Transaction, Function, Report, or Process) from one database and the import into another. The following panel, containing an Import and Export view, will be displayed when selecting Tools > Transfer menu item:

Export a Template or Procedure

• Launch the desired Architecture Editor;
• select Tools > Transfer;
• select the Export view (the Name editable field will show, as a default, the name of the Template or Procedure);
• Set the To file (the path and file name) to indicate where the file is to be stored.

Import a Template or Procedure

• launch the desired Architecture Editor;
• select Tools > Transfer;
• select the Import view;
• Set the From file (the path and file name) to indicate where the specific file is to be imported from;
• specify the Name to be given to the imported object.
